Services for International Students and Exchange Staff at Makerere University

The International Relations Office is responsible for promoting international activities at the university especially student activities. Our visitors are particularly important as they contribute to internationalization which is a key pillar of the University’s Vision and Strategic Plan. They bring experiences from their universities and take experiences of Makerere back to their universities. The office works in liaison with the Academic Registrar and Dean of Students’ offices.

The Office is responsible for receiving and welcoming international visitors to the university and making programmes for their visit. It also handles accommodation reservations in major hotels and in guest houses in and around town.
