Admission Requirements
Admission to the undergraduate programmes is open to persons with at least a principle pass in biology at A ‘levels and to holders of a Diploma in a biological disciple from a recognized college or institution. Admission Requirements for Masters of Science in Zoology depend on the track one is interested in. For Entomology track, one requires a good BSc degree (with Zoology as one of the subjects and with Entomology/ Integrated Pest and Vector Management option). For Parasitology track, one requires a good BSc degree (with Zoology as one of the subjects with Parasitology/Applied Parasitology. For Fisheries track, one requires a good BSc degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture or a good BSc degree (with Zoology as one of the subjects with Hydrobiology or Fish Biology and Aquaculture or a good BSc degree with a Diploma in Fisheries. For Wildlife track, one requires a good BSc degree (with Zoology as one of the subjects), BSC Conservation Biology or BSc Environmental Sciences are the requirements. For the PhD programme, good MSc degree in a relevant discipline is required.
