World Fisheries Day Celebrations Photo Contest

The contest is open to all age groups and all walks of life across the nation of Uganda

The subject can be anything that relates to fish production in Uganda, its benefits, threats and protection measures and not necessarily a fish.

The competition will run for 7 days commencing on 18th November and ending on 25th November 5pm. All picture submissions made by the closing date will be vetted and assessed by a panel of three judges drawn from Media, Private Sector and Academia. An album of the top 5 pictures will appear on our Facebook and Instagram pages for 2 days so that all fish loving Ugandans can vote for the winning entry – Whoever gets the most votes, WINS!

The winning submission will receive prizes including a weekend of guided fishing at the source of the Nile and the honor of dinning with top-most dignitaries in the Fisheries industry. The top three entries will feature prominently on MAAIF website and media portals for a period of three months.
